Meet Info: Woodland Waves vs Spring Cypress

Happy Thursday Stingrays!

The Woodland Waves vs Spring Cypress Swim meet will be this Saturday. We cannot wait to see you there! Please read through this entire email. It has all the information you will need for Saturday. Heat and Psych Sheets are attached.

This week’s meet is brought to us by Longwood Village. Our team is very fortunate that the Longwood HOA allows us to use its pool as our pool for practices and meets. It is very supportive of our team. The Stingrays want to thank the Longwood HOA for its continued support!

**** Since we had a lot of rain this past week the ground is going to be pretty muddy Saturday. It would be a good idea to bring a tarp to sit on so you can keep your things dry.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS

  • Please make sure the younger swimmers know who their tent parent is before you leave them and that they know not to leave without their tent parent knowing. This is VERY important for the safety of your child. If you come to take your child to get food, go to the bathroom, etc… Please let the tent parent know when you leave and when you return. As for the older kids. Parents, please remind your children that they are NOT allowed to leave their tents and walk around without permission from their tent parent. We had issues at Time Trials with older children leaving their tents and not notifying the tent parent. Again this is for the safety of your child and also so the tent parent can make sure they make their events.
  • Once your swimmer is finished for the day, please do not leave without checking out with your child’s tent parent. We also ask that you make sure your child has cleaned up after himself or herself and make sure his or her tent area is clear.
  • You are responsible for cleaning up your own tent area. Please pick up trash you have and make sure you take anything you brought from home with you! We want to keep our neighborhood clean. Anything left behind will be put in the lost and found bin.
  • Also any help is greatly appreciated the morning of the meet or after the meet is over. There are so many things that need to be done to get going in the morning and to break down in the afternoon. If you would like to help out please find a board member in a bright pink shirt and we will let you know what needs to be done. Thank you so much to the families that helped us out at Time Trials last weekend. Your efforts did not go unnoticed.

If you are not going to make the meet or have a sick swimmer, please email Coach Emily ([email protected]) or use the REMIND app to send her a message.
