VOLUNTEER OF THE WEEK WINNERS

We received several great nominations, but the individuals with the most nominations were Leanna Barton, Erin Stockton, &Trevor Vavreck!! Here are just a few of the reasons why Leanna, Erin, & Trevor exemplified the Stingray’s spirit -

-Our ready bench leaders are amazing. Our home meets ran so smoothly all season. Starters never had to wait for swimmers and swimmers were always ready to swim the best races thanks to Leanna and Erin's leadership!

-They do the best job and make the meets run smoothly. There is not a better ready bench than ours.

-The Ready Bench Queens always just make it happen. They wrangle all the swimmers, making sure they are where they need to be, when they need to be there. Leanna and Erin work both shifts at home meets to make sure the meet runs efficiently. This week we finished 40 minutes ahead of the timeline. Largely because of their diligence and hard work.

-Trevor has made tremendous effort reorganizing the concessions and even puts many hours in outside of meet days.

-Prior to the season, Head of Concessions Trevor Vavreck approached the Board with the idea of moving Concessions. The goals were to reduce both Friday night setup and meet day volunteer requirements, make Concessions more accessible, and increase efficiency by having supplies closer to the distribution point. After receiving approval, Trevor spent many hours cleaning and organizing the lifeguard room and attached closet to get them ready for Time Trials. His initiative and hard work are why Trevor should be Stingrays Volunteer of the Week.

We strongly encourage that you and your swimmers begin hydrating Friday and continue to do so throughout the meet.

See you all bright and early Saturday!
