SCST at Gleannloch Volunteer Information

First swim meet of the season! Below is some information that you will need. Anything in red is an alert that we need someone to fill a spot. Please email [email protected] to volunteer.

  • ALL VOLUNTEERS: Tent set up, shift 1, shift 2 and tent break down, check in at the Volunteer table by 7:00 am.
  • ALL SWIMMERS: Check in at your tent by 7:15 am. Warm-ups for the Stingrays begin at 7:30 am.
  • ALL PARENTS - PARKING: Please pay attention to signs related to parking. There is parking along one side of Gleannbury Pointe Dr and near the pool and baseball fields.
  • ALL PARENTS: Please support our awesome tent parents by supplying your swimmer with activities, snacks and drinks and applying sunblock in advance.
  • ALL PARENTS: Please call or text Coach Elise (832-971-8494) if you have a sick swimmer and will be unable to attend. Please also call or text the Volunteer Coordinator, Holly Eubanks, (832-540-0352) if you will be unable to attend a meet.
  • ROADIES: Arrive at 6:30 am. Parents will be there at 6:45 to assist with tent set-up. Don’t forget to sign up for the first and second shift if you will be there for both. You deserve credit for all of your hard work! (2nd shift Roadies)
  • TENT SET UP Swimmer’s last name begins with G. Tent set up begins at 6:30 am. (If you cannot fulfill this commitment please switch with another family.)
  • TENT PARENTS: Report to your tent no later than 7:10 am. Your Head Tent Parent, Ernie Rodriguez, will give you a clipboard with your age group swimmer list and a sharpie. Please check that all swimmers are accounted for and notify Ernie if anyone is missing. Mark your swimmer’s arms using the sharpie for their individual swimming events. When events for your age group are called please put the swimmers that are in that event in order and walk them to the ready bench. Be ready to receive them at the end of their event and walk them back to the tent. For detailed instructions go to http://bit.ly/2pFN1oK.   • TIMERS & SCRIBES: Listen for announcement instructing you when and where to report to the timer / scriber meeting prior to the start of the meet. It should be at approximately 8 am.
  • OFFICIALS: Please report to Tom Lightfoot.
  • READY BENCH: When you hear the announcement for the Timer / Scribe meeting, at approximately 8 am, please report to the ready bench.
  • RUNNERS: When you hear the announcement for the Timer / Scribe meeting, at approximately 8 am, please report on deck. (2nd shift Ready Bench)
  • COMPUTERS: Report to the computer area after checking yourself and your swimmer in and wait for instructions.
  • TENT BREAK DOWN: Swimmer’s last name begins with B. (If you cannot fulfill this commitment please switch with another family.)
