SCST @ Copperfield Meet Information

Wow! It’s already time for our first swim meet! Below is some information that you will need. Anything in red is an alert that we need someone to fill a spot. Please log in and sign up today by 5pm.

  • ALL VOLUNTEERS: Tent set up, shift 1, shift 2 and tent break down, check in at the Volunteer table by 7:45 am.
  • ALL SWIMMERS: Check in at your tent by 7:30 am. Warm-ups for the Stingrays begin at 7:45 am.
  • ALL PARENTS: Please support our awesome tent parents by supplying your swimmer with activities, snacks and drinks and applying sun block in advance.
  • ALL PARENTS: Please text Coach Elise (832-971-8494) if you have a sick swimmer and will be unable to attend the meet. Please also text the Volunteer Coordinator, Holly Eubanks, (832-540-0352) if you will be unable to attend a meet.
  • ROADIES: Begin at 6:45 am. Don’t forget to sign up for the first and second shift if you will be there for both. You deserve credit for all of your hard work!
  • TENT SET UP: Wright, Wittliff, White, Westall, Weissinger, Waterman, Venker, Vaca. Tent set up begins at 6:45 am. (If you cannot fulfill this commitment please switch with another family.)
  • TENT PARENTS: Report to your tent no later than 7:30 am. Your Head Tent Parent, Ernie Rodriguez, will give you a clipboard with your age group swimmer list and a sharpie. Please check that all swimmers are accounted for and notify Ernie if anyone is missing. Mark your swimmer’s arms using the sharpie for their individual swimming events. When events for your age group are called please put the swimmers that are in that event in order and walk them to the ready bench. Be ready to receive them at the end of their event and walk them back to the tent. (Tent Parents needed: 11-12 Girls 2nd shift, 13 & up 1st and 2nd shift, 6 & under girls 1st shift, 7-8 boys 1st and 2nd shift, 7-8 girls 2nd shift, 9-10 girls 2nd shift)
  • TIMERS & SCRIBES: Listen for announcement instructing you when and where to report to the timer / scriber meeting prior to the start of the meet. It should be at approximately 8 am. (The Stingrays Head Timer / Scribes are Lora and Curt Morgan.)
  • FIRST AID: The Stingrays wonderful First Aid team will be available at away meets via cell phone for any emergencies. Thank you Shannon Alford (281-678-1692) and Kaci Wright (469) 288-3222).
  • OFFICIALS: Please report to Shane Weissinger.
  • READY BENCH: When you hear the announcement for the Timer / Scribe meeting, at approximately 8 am, please report to the ready bench. (The Stingrays Head Ready Bench is Missy Gonzalez.) (2nd shift volunteer needed)
  • RUNNERS: When you hear the announcement for the Timer / Scribe meeting, at approximately 8 am, please report on deck. (The Stingrays Head Runners are Valerie and Steve Carter.)
  • COMPUTERS: Report to the computer area after checking yourself and your swimmer in and wait for instructions. (The Stingrays Head of Computers is Lynn Samuel.)
  • TENT BREAK DOWN: Turcotte, Thomas, Steele, Smoker, Smith, Sherer, Shepherd, Selz, Scott. Tent break down begins at the end of the meet. (If you cannot fulfill this commitment please switch with another family.)
