We faced a tough 11 & Up Deerfield team this past Saturday, taking our first (and VERY close) loss. Meet Report and Athlete Report Card are attached. 

BAKE SALE

The Stingrays will be having a bake sale during practices on Wednesday June 9. All proceeds will benefit the Stingrays scholarship fund. You can participate in two ways:

Provide a donation - Bake your favorite treat and bring it with you to the pool as early as possible on Wednesday this week, preferably by the end of the first practice. There will be a table in the entry hallway for baked goods. If you can't get to the pool early, feel free to drop your baked goods at the Smoker's house on Tuesday night (11927 Wynmar Lane).

Buy some baked goods and enjoy eating them - There will be a donation jar at the table. Pick out something that looks good and make a donation to the Stingray's scholarship fund. If you don't have cash, you can always write a check or make a Venmo payment.

COACHES’ CORNER

We had some great competition Saturday, which led to some great personal best times. This week's swimmers of the week were Sophia Bertrand, Luke Waterman, Caden Cromer, Eliza Lightfoot, Katheryn Lightfoot and Jake Smoker.

These next two meets will be our most competitive swim meets. Attendance will be very important. Can’t wait to see what our Stingrays can do to finish off our season!

SIGN UP FOR MEET (10 & under AT Town Lake) • MEET DECLARATION AVAILABLE!

This week we will swim against the Town Lake with the 10 & Under swimmers. When you declare your swimmer pick TWO events they want to swim, the coaches will pick the other one PLUS the relays. And don’t forget to sign up for volunteer slots now!

SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS

We will be awarding AT LEAST one scholarship this season to a senior on the team. For more details and application requirements, please see our site at https://www.scstingrays.net/scholarship. Completed Scholarship must be received by 14 June 2021 at Noon.
