Calling all creative Stingrays!

In recent years, the Board has struggled to come up with a fresh theme and logo. To combat that this year, we are announcing our Theme and Logo Contest. All entries must meet the following criteria:

• Submitted by a Stingray parent or swimmer
• One entry per person
• Include both Theme (the catchphrase we’ll put on our shirts) and Logo (some variation on a Stingray)
• Be emailed to [email protected] no later than January 31, 2024

Tips:

• Because it’s our 25th (silver) anniversary, the theme and logo should reflect that in some way
• If there is too much detail, your logo may not scale well
• More colors means more expensive, so go easy on them (max 3); also realize that some uses of the logo may be single color
• It should be joyful/fun and appropriate for 5-year-olds to wear
• Brevity is the soul of wit; if your theme/catchphrase is too long, your audience may…oh, look - a squirrel!

The Board will vote in February and announce a winner in March. In addition to bragging rights, the winner will receive a complimentary Registration Fee for his or her family ($80 value). Email [email protected] if you have any questions.
