Here is what is coming up for this week:

Bridgeland Meet on Saturday, June 4- Meet declaration and Volunteer job sign up is OPEN, please declare your swimmer and sign up for your job. Meet info/details are on the web page under the "Swim Meet Tab", then "This Week's Meet"

Summer Thunder Payment- We are asking that checks be turned in by Tuesday's practice (May 31).   Checks can either be placed in the RULAND family file folder or given to Melissa Ruland personally. Checks should be made out to SCST.

Summer Practice Schedule- Starting on Tuesday, June 7, our MORNING practice schedule will begin: ALSO, see document under "TEAM TAB" and then "PRACTICES" for additional summer practice details

7:00-7:45  9/10

7:45-8:45  13 and Up

8:45-9:30  11/12

9:30-10:00  6 and Under

10:00-10:45  7/8

5:00pm-6:00pm   All Ages (with Coach's approval)

6:00pm-7:00pm  All Ages (with Coach's approval)

FUN FRIDAY THIS WEEK- Diving for DOLLARS... Swimmers will be diving for coins during practice- lets see who can get the biggest treasure!!

STINGRAY'S COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT- This Friday, one of our high school Stingrays, Kate Thomas, will be setting up a table to accept donations for THE WATER PROJECT. This organization provides clean, safe drinking water to countries in Africa, who do not have access to drinkable water.

Over the last two years the Stingrays donated over $700 and we are hopeful to raise even more this summer.  Below is un update from last year’s Stingrays donation:

We are excited to report that, thanks to your willingness to help, Kigezi Primary School in Uganda has a new source of safe, clean water. A new well has been constructed and our partner has worked with the school to improve sanitation and hygiene practices at the school. Together these changes will help stop the spread of disease in the area.
