Time Trials!

This is a long one, but please read all the way through to familiarize yourself with Time trials on Friday night! There will be a quiz covering the material in this email. Not really..:-)

We are less than one week away from TIME TRIALS! We are so excited to get our times set and get this season started! On Sundays, our swimmer declaration and volunteer sign up opens! It will always open on Sunday for EVERY meet. What does this mean? It means you can begin signing up your swimmer and choosing your job for the upcoming meet. Swimmer declaration will always close on TUESDAYS at Midnight. So, Sunday-Tuesday is your window of swim opportunities!

TIME TRIALS

Event Date: May 6, 2016 (Friday!)

Registration Deadline: May 3, 2016

Job Signup Deadline: May 5, 1016

Deadline to declare your swimmer is Tuesday at Midnight. You MUST register online for your events in order to swim at the meet.

Time Trials are run similarly to a meet and give the coaches our beginning times to help them plan the meet line-up for our first dual meet. It is extremely important for swimmers to get a feel for a meet and to set a time. Every swimmer will swim every event that is normal for his or her age group except for the 100 distance races, which only the older age groups will swim in. It is important for all swimmers to attend time trials. Swimmers must have a time on record prior to the first dual meet. The make-up date and time for time trails will be announced after time trials.

How to declare your swimmer: First , Log in to the web page...:-)

Swim Meets Tab > Click the swimmer icon next to time trials> Select swimmer (drop down)> add entry (on right)-all events that they can swim should populate....Click the specific events to swim>SAVE

How to sign up for your volunteer job: Swim Meets Tab > Click the "V" icon next to time trials>**See attachment

5:20 Last warm up finishes. Please make your way to the team photo area.

Parking is available on Kavanaugh Lane and Louetta Road. DO NOT PARK ON LONGWOOD BEND. The parking lot is reserved for coaches, officials, concessions and computers. * See parking map for details
Playground is OFF LIMITS to all swimmers.
There will be no tent set up or tent break down for time trials.

CONCESSIONS: We offer some of the finest dining at our pool!

Menu includes: pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, chili dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chips, sweets, gatorade, water, soda.

Our fabulous concessions crew also offers $5 meal: hot dog, chilidog, hamburger, cheeseburger OR Pulled Pork sandwich with chips and drink. Only $5- can't beat those prices!

TEAM STORE: All pre-orders will be available for pick up at time trials. Payment must be made at pick-up, and can be made via cash, credit card or check. There will also be spirit items, goggles, caps and bungees for sale. Team shirts will be distributed upon arrival, before the team picture.
