Stingray Families-
Its the beginning of the season and things are always busy! I have few items related to PHOTOGRAPHY to share with you!
Please read carefully as I don't want you to miss opportunities to capture memories of your favorite Stingray!
Individual Swimmer Photos- Parents! Show your team spirit and celebrate your swimmer! Individual swimmer photos will be taken on WEDNESDAY, MAY 4, FROM 4-8pm at the Longwood Bend Practice Pool. You can come at any time during this time frame. Siblings are welcome to take pictures together, as well as individually. You will need your team suit! You can order photos and a variety of novelty items including spirit buttons that many wear to meets. Payment is due at the time pictures are taken. I have attached a picture order form. You can print and fill out and bring to the pool. Or we will have extra copies for you at the pool.
SMUG MUG PHOTOS
Our volunteer photography crew is a little short-handed this season. Therefore, we are encouraging you to donate your new and gently used digital photographs for posting to the team’s SmugMug site. Your pictures may have the power to bring a smile to someone’s day or to help raise money for the team (see below). Please contact Brenda Lightfoot ([email protected]) for instructions for uploading photos.
Due to the overwhelming positive response from so many parents and grandparents over the past few seasons regarding how pleased they have been to be able to easily view and download photos of their swimmers, we have decided to upgrade our SmugMug subscription to better this system and to facilitate our fundraising efforts.
To obtain FREE email-quality images, simply right-click on the enlarged photo (on the right‑hand side of the screen) and select “Save Image As” to save the JPG file to your computer or device. The free images will include a watermark with the Stingrays logo and current year.
You may also download full-sized, high resolution original images with full personal use license for a small donation of just $2. Reasonably priced prints and an assortment of keepsakes are also available for purchase. What grandparent would not love to see the faces of their favorite Stingrays every day on their coffee mug?? Sales proceeds will directly benefit the team and YOUR SWIMMERS!
Please note that SmugMug does charge a 50¢ processing fee for all orders below $10 that include any digital downloads.

There will be separate Galleries set up for each swim meet and each Fun Friday plus pictures are being added to the 2016 Practice Pics gallery almost daily throughout the season, so be sure to check in there each time you visit.
